A sweet story about Maine maple syrup

Blais Maple Syrup in Greene, Maine.

Greene, Maine, U.S.A. – Each year, maple syrup producers here mark the fourth Sunday in March as “Maine Maple Sunday.” They open their sugarhouses – the buildings where the sap from maple trees is turned into syrup – to visitors and sell specialty items like maple cotton candy, maple popcorn and other treats.

Owen Ferguson is an Associate Editor at Youth Journalism International. He reported and produced this video story.
