There’s No Time Like the Olympics

Portland, Ore., U.S.A. – Some people may think the Olympics are just some sporting event that happens every four years, but that’s not all.
The Olympics, to me, are the time when we as a world put all our differences aside and ban together in a fierce competition.
This is the time to show our strengths and sometimes even show our weaknesses.
It’s the time to show teamwork and prove dedication.
This is the moment that athletes train for all of their lives. It is their dream, it’s what gives them their drive.
This moment is the moment to make new friends, build a stronger relationship with teammates, and to strengthen yourself.
Sometimes things may not work out the way you want them to, but in the end there is always something good that comes from the bad.
Some may rise and others may fall. This is the deciding point.
Go, world!
